  Family Vacation  - My family of 13 rented (4) villas. We had (3) 3 bedroom villas and (1) 2 bedroom villa. We had (2) third floor, (1) second floor and (1) first... read more floor unit. Our comments:

The Good
1. Beautiful views of the harbor and ocean.
2. Spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The 3 bedroom villas were bigger than our house.
3. Each of the 6 grandchildren (ages 12 thru 20) had their own bedroom and bathroom. This was wonderful for all parties.
4. There is a full time guard at the entrance to the facility.
5. Each villa had its own numbered parking space.
6. Great location close to Yan Thiel and Mambo beach.
7. There is an excellent sea excursion outfit a short walk across the bay. We took a snorkeling tour.
8. Beach and snorkeling area at the facility.

The Bad
1. The top (third floor) villas have no ceiling insulation. The heat from the sun beats down on the tile roof resulting in the air conditioning units running continuously and struggling to keep us cool.
2. The ability to communicate with the facility was difficult. The unmarked office is in a first floor villa. Communication between booking and arrival was intermittent. We weren't sure that we still had a reservation.
3. The facility was a bit shop worn around the edges.

All considered, we would return for another vacation. We had a great time.

  Excellent property for a relaxing vacation!  - We recently visited magical Curacao, over Christmas, and after numerous other visits to the island, we decided to opt for a different experience and to be located in a different... read more area of the island, and we were extremely pleased with every aspect of our stay! We booked directly with the resort and communicated via Whatsapp with the office staff and the communication was great! We arrived late at night and the security guard had our key and info as far as various aspects of the unit that we were assigned to. It was on the 2nd floor, beachfront ( well worth it!! ) and contained two spacious bedrooms, each with balconies, along with two and one half baths, a complete and fully stocked kitchen, with anything needed to prepare meals if you so desired, and included a dishwasher, stove top, oven, microwave, and a full-sized refrigerator. There was also a washing machine, which really was wonderful with wet beach towels and clothing. No dryer, but a drying rack that was large and we would lay out our wet laundry and in the sun, it dried quickly in the sun on the balcony. We did not have housekeeping while there, so we did have to wash our towels, etc., which was no problem. They do have an option for it at an additional cost if wanted. There was a large den and dining area, along with a very nice large balcony with table and chairs, plus a sofa and chairs for relaxing! The beach is literally a matter of feet away from the property ( and directly below the balcony) and the snorkeling right there is incredible with very easy access into the water! The property is located on a peninsula so it is very private and there is a security gate with guards on duty 24/7 who screen people coming and going. The accommodations very spotlessly clean and the staff was wonderful! We never even used the pool, but it seemed nice. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as stores for groceries and other supplies, and it is only a short distance to downtown. Wifi was also very good and free. For anyone looking for a wonderful place that provides total relaxation and to get away from the usual crowded resorts, I would highly recommend this property! We would definitely consider staying again on our next visit to the island!
