Free... read more parking with security. Close to Caracasbaai Beach (popular for locals) and Tugboat beach (for divers). 4 min by car to Jan Thiel Beach with sunbeds, restaurants.

  Relaxing beach getaway  - We stayed in Palapa 21, which has a beautiful beachfront location. Steps from the door is the pool with gorgeous views of the bay. The condo is very well appointed,... read more with two bedrooms, one with a king and the second with two double beds. Each bedroom has its own three piece bathroom. There is also a powder room off of the dining/living room. The kitchen has everything you will need, including a blender to make your island cocktails and a dishwasher to clean up after. There are folding chairs and a beach chair, as well as a cooler to pack for your beach days. If you have children, there are sand toys and two Kickboards. There are plenty of bath/beach towels, but no wash cloths, and only two hand towels for all three bathrooms, so I used a beach towel in the third. There are only two dish towels, and one dish cloth as well, but there is a washing machine and a drying rack so you can launder yourself during your stay. There are two waterfront restaurants/bars within a very short walk. The unit has A/C in both bedrooms and the main living area, but we used it in the master bedroom only, as we didn't need the second bedroom and we enjoyed opening the sliding glass doors completely while we were home, to enjoy the warm breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. I highly recommend this unit.

  Palapa offered a very spacious apartment with two rooms and large balconies. The WIFI was always on point. The sound of the ocean was extremely peaceful and we always felt... read more safe because of the 24 hr security guards on duty. Definitely recommend for a short or long stay period!
