  The unite was great  - We had a two bedroom unite, with a very well stocked kitchen. Two big bathroom and one powder room our view wasn’t great as we looked at the next... read more building beside us. The beach was very rough and small we never used it. The swimming pool also small and when we checked in was not very clean. We never used it either. I felt very safe there and was close to two very good restaurants. Staying here you would need to rent a car to get to beaches.

  This property is in a fantastic location for good food and water activities. It was clean, well appointed and had great staff and security. We had an ocean... read more front room that had beautiful sounds of the waves and nice breezes. Having A/C in all rooms along with a washing machine made everything special. They give you a reasonable allotment of utilities and we only went over it by only $2 per day average, even though we did laundry daily and ran the A/C all night in our bedroom. The swimming pool was on the small side, but had fabulous views. Our master bedroom Jacuzzi did not have water working and that should have been observed by the housekeeping before we arrived. We did ask about it and they offered to send a maintenance person to look/work on the problem, but we did not want any work done on it while we were there so we declined. The security staff was always friendly, watchful and helpful. The office managers Yamillette and Raquel were always professional, helpful, friendly and cheerful. They also answered all advanced email questions promptly. Our first day on the Island, the electricity was down for the entire area and Yamillette apologized many times over it while we were checking in. It was nice that she showed so much sympathy for us even though it was not any problem that she created. She also made our check in process...   Relaxing beach getaway  - We stayed in Palapa 21, which has a beautiful beachfront location. Steps from the door is the pool with gorgeous views of the bay. The condo is very well appointed,... read more with two bedrooms, one with a king and the second with two double beds. Each bedroom has its own three piece bathroom. There is also a powder room off of the dining/living room. The kitchen has everything you will need, including a blender to make your island cocktails and a dishwasher to clean up after. There are folding chairs and a beach chair, as well as a cooler to pack for your beach days. If you have children, there are sand toys and two Kickboards. There are plenty of bath/beach towels, but no wash cloths, and only two hand towels for all three bathrooms, so I used a beach towel in the third. There are only two dish towels, and one dish cloth as well, but there is a washing machine and a drying rack so you can launder yourself during your stay. There are two waterfront restaurants/bars within a very short walk. The unit has A/C in both bedrooms and the main living area, but we used it in the master bedroom only, as we didn't need the second bedroom and we enjoyed opening the sliding glass doors completely while we were home, to enjoy the warm breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. I highly recommend this unit.
